Wind Flowers
60" h x 36" w, oil on linen
This flower is known to grow on the sides of steep hills and mountains swaying to the wind. Its formal name is Anemone which is Greek for "wind." These flowers are legend to grow in battle fields where soldiers fell. I left one flower on the left partially hidden as it is thought to be an Asian symbol for good luck. This painting will be a valued piece in any home, office, public space or corporate collection.
